If you like to discover the gastronomy of the places you travel to, this is your route. After knowing the most emblematic places of Pamplona you will enter our gastronomy of Navarre with a tasting in one of the best restaurants in the city.
The visit begins with an introduction to the history of Pamplona at the Gran Hotel La Perla and Plaza del Castillo.
Afterwards, we will visit places and emblematic streets of the historic center of Pamplona. In the area of the Cathedral, the oldest in the city, we will know the origins of Pamplona. Next, we will walk to Caballo Blanco viewpoint where we will enjoy the magnificent views of the Pamplona region, leaning out of the walls from the Renaissance fortifications. At this point we will see the entrance to the Camino de Santiago and discover the origins, history and its relationship with the city.
Later, we will move to the Plaza Consistorial where we will see the situation of the three Burgos in which Pamplona was divided, as well as the history that led them to stop being at odds in the year 1423.
After this stop, we will continue the visit along the route of the encierro where we will learn more about the Sanfermines, the origins of the festival and its traditions.
Once the tour is finished, we will enjoy a tasting of seasonal dishes at the Enekorri restaurant, an excellent establishment in Pamplona. The tasting consists of a three-course seasonal menu in which each dish will be accompanied by a different wine. For each wine we will give an explanation about the varieties, elaboration methods and wineries. To finish, dessert and coffee will be served. The service will end at 2:30 in the afternoon.
